In just a day, Infinix is set to take the stage in Venice, Italy, to unveil its latest flagship smartphone, the Infinix Zero 30 5G.
The device will succeed the Infinix Zero 20 which was released in October last year.
In Kenya, we can expect to see the Infinix Zero 30 5G by the start of September. Basically, in a few days’ time.
While much is yet to be known about the device and its specifics, at least on an official basis, we know just enough from the usual leaks cycle ahead of a device’s unveiling, to be able to piece everything together. Even better, we even have some visuals to go with the murmurs about the device and an official video from Infinix India to work with!
I mean, have a look:
Various online reports from the last week and this week intimate that the smartphone will pack a 60-degree curved 6.78-inch 10-bit AMOLED display, a 50-megapixel selfie camera that can shoot 4K videos at 60 frames per second. An unspecified back camera is said to arrive with optical image stabilization (OIS). An IP53 rating for water (splash) and dust resistance is also on the cards.
12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage are pretty much par-the-course for such a device and the leaks point to that being the case here. There’s 9GB extended/virtual RAM to consider as well.
As far as the design of the device goes, from what we can see from the leaked images, we can expect looks that are eerily similar to those of the Infinix Note 30 VIP that we loved very much. Especially at the back. That camera hump is very familiar.
How much do you think the Infinix Zero 30 5G will go for? How many devices do you think will be made available under the Infinix Zero 30 series? We can’t wait to get answers to those questions in a few hours.
