The Infinix Zero 30 5G is an excellent smartphone. That much we have said in our review and even shared more in an upcoming podcast. Check here for when it drops. However, how does it compare to another device that we have reviewed recently as well and that we also did like? Let’s find out.
First things first, one device being an Oppo smartphone and the other being an Infinix smartphone means that there are some fundamental approaches that we will have to live with right out of the box, right? Well, wrong. That might have been true in the past but it is no longer true today.
With the Zero 30 5G, Infinix has blurred any hard lines that existed between it and the competition. Not only that, it has, frankly, blown the competition out of the water.
Not only is the Infinix Zero 30 5G able to match the Oppo. Reno10 5G spec by spec and feature by feature, as can be seen in the specifications greed below and the respective reviews of the two devices on this blog (here’s the Reno10’s), it is also a few shillings cheaper, something that will always matter.
Past pet peeves of ours that would’ve had us making room for the competition like the software, have been addressed. XOS, as can be seen on the Infinix Zero 30 5G, is at its best. The best we’ve ever seen. It’s at that level where we have no misgivings about it. Just like we have no misgivings with the ColorOS 13.1 that runs on the Reno10 5G. And the fast charging that Oppo has been one-upping the competition with for years? Infinix is all caught up now.
From our experience using the two devices over an entire two-month period, the Infinix emerged the superior device in every way. It has a better display – better when viewing it and using it and not just the paper specs and where you are looking at just the specs on paper, it remains unbeatable, too – a better overall user experience, better cameras. Heck, it even has better endurance.
While the choice is still yours when it comes to what to get, on our end, making a decision has never been so easy.
