Samsung has begun rolling out the substantial One UI 6.1 update to its Galaxy S23 series devices across Kenya. Owners of the Galaxy S23, S23+, S23 Ultra, and the S23 FE can now experience the latest Galaxy AI enhancements and features that come with One UI 6.1.
This update follows the initial rollout of One UI 6.1 on the Galaxy Z Fold 5, expanding the reach of Samsung’s updated software customization. One UI 6.1 offers a range of new features, optimizations, and user experience improvements designed to elevate the Galaxy smartphone experience.
While the newer Galaxy S24 has already started receiving the April 2024 security patch, the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S23 lineup still incorporates the March security patch. It’s likely that Samsung will address this discrepancy in a future update not long from now, bringing the Galaxy S23 series in line with the latest security standards.
