For 5 years now, fans of Samsung’s Galaxy Note series, once the top-most smartphone series from the Korean device maker, have been in the dark regarding the status of the device series.
For 3 years, they have had to make do with the Ultra model smartphone from the company’s Galaxy S series. This is since Samsung started offering its S Pen stylus, the most notable feature of the Galaxy Note series, on the Ultra model of its Galaxy S series starting with the Galaxy S22 Ultra in 2022.
Going by recent news, that may soon be coming to an end.
Word on the grapevine (and you should take this with a pinch of salt) is that next year (2025), Samsung is mulling bringing back the Samsung Galaxy Note series in some form. That means that the Galaxy S25 Ultra may not exist in favour of the new Galaxy Note smartphone.
At least, that is where we are going per what some leakers have been sharing on X.
The implication, according to the said leakers, is that the other members of Samsung’s Galaxy series will be getting some new names. For instance, the Galaxy S Plus would now become the Galaxy S Pro?
It’s still early days to be very sure of what Samsung is cooking but, does the prospect of the Galaxy Note series making a comeback excite you?
