Xiaomi recently revealed its initial list of devices that will receive Android Q update but left out the highly publicized Pocophone F1. Since this list was nowhere near complete, we weren’t surprised by this omission.
And today, we have some good news for bearers of the Poco F1, as some call it. As of this writing stretching all the way to July 7, you can enroll your F1 to try Android Q beta update. Xiaomi says it will confirm the selected persons on July 10 after which the Q beta build will be pushed to their devices.
This process isn’t limited to any region, so feel free to submit your interest regardless of where you are. However, there are quite a number of conditions that should be met, among them unlocking the bootloader of your Pocophone.
You must also be using the latest global stable ROM, willing to deal with unstable software that can be buggy, and be an active Mi community member, among others.
