For some time it felt like Samsung lost the budget and midrange smartphone battle, but how wrong we were! The Galaxy A series has some great offerings and one of the best ones is Samsung Galaxy A50.
The phone is quite a proposition at its price. It stands out from the crowd with a fingerprint scanner hidden under an expansive 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display (1080p) and complemented by a tri-lens camera on the back that includes an ultra-wide lens and depth sensor.
In the latest software update to June 2019 security patch, Samsung is making this camera even better at what it does by adding the dedicated night mode and super slow-motion video recording mode.
As you may have guessed, the former is here to spice up your nightlife photography while the latter brings the ability to record short videos in super slow motion. Before this update, the Galaxy A50 can record videos in regular slow motion.
This update has been spotted in India, but it’s the same one we expect on Kenyan variants of the Galaxy A50. As for when it arrives, the wait could take anywhere between a week and two.
We will update this post when the update arrives in Kenya. Meanwhile, have you heard about the Galaxy A90 and its support for 5G network? Well, there’s more below.
