Infinix Mobility has a new software update for the Infinix Smart 3 handset available for downloading over the air.
The update is arriving as version V220 and apparently, it was published late last month, but it’s only now that owners of the Infinix Smart 3 are seeing the OTA download notification.
Besides installing a new June 2019 security patch, the update also tags along updated Google Service apps and the usual bug fixes and performance improvements.
Since it’s an OTA update, it will take time before all Smart 3 units receive the download notification, so be patient as you wait for the new software. It’s not the latest security patch available, but it’s great to see Infinix keeping some of its low-cost devices up to date.
