We know that HMD Global is getting ready to launch the third-generation Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 smartphones in the coming days or weeks for that matter, but until now, we only had speculations to back this claim.

In the latest development, a mobile case distributor has revealed expected shipping dates for Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 cases. Reported by NokiaPowerUser, it’s now emerging that cases for the two Nokia devices will be available for purchase in two weeks’ time. This should be about the same time the two devices begin shipping, at least for those in India.

Previous rumors have suggested that the Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 will share the same rear design language. If this is true, it means the two will use the same case, unless their sizes are different. Understandably, the Nokia 7.2 is said to pack more powerful specs compared to the 6.2.

The leaked case points to a tri-lens camera on the back of the Nokia 7.2 mounted on a circular array while the front has a waterdrop notch. If both have the same design on the back as rumored, the Nokia 6.2 should also feature a triple-lens camera setup.

Other sections suggest the Nokia 6.2 will take after the Nokia X71. Yes, there’s a triple-lens camera on the back, but arranged vertically, contrary to the arrangement on the Nokia 7.2.

In short, be sure to take this report with a grain of salt, at least until HMD unveils the two devices, probably before mid-August 2019.
