Oppo Kenya has launched a new campaign to “appreciate customers amid the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic”.
Dubbed the Oppo Super Brand Month, the campaign will see those who buy any device from Oppo Kenya’s brand outlets countrywide rewarded with a bag containing 10 face masks.
Oppo devices will also be discounted throughout the two-week period the campaign will be running.
“During the period of the campaign, the smartphone company shall also have many of their devices on special offers, including product bundling at favourable prices at all their brand shops countrywide and on Jumia. Customers who buy the Reno 3 will get free W11 wireless earphones, while consumers who buy the Oppo A92, A12, A31 and A52 can purchase the W11 wireless earphones at Kshs 3000 that currently retail at Kshs 4,999,” reads a statement from the company sent to the media on Monday.
Oppo is also enhancing its after-sales service in Nairobi with a commitment to customers that phones they take in for repairs at its city service centre will be attended to within an hour.
According to Counterpoint Research, the Chinese device maker managed to net 6% of the local smartphone market last year. Efforts such as these are aimed at shoring up its numbers by heavily promoting not only its brand image but also the various new devices it has recently released in the market.
