Here’s how to watch the Infinix Note 8’s global unveiling

Infinix is today set to unveil its latest smartphones, the Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i, globally.

Like just about every other global launch (especially in these times), the event will be streamed online – on YouTube – starting at 6PM this evening.

Below is where you can follow the launch live:

We are not strangers to the Infinix Note 8 here at Android Kenya having laid our hands on an early unit that we have since unboxed and taken you on early walkthrough on our YouTube channel (see the link below and please subscribe) but there are still some things about the device and its sibling, the Note 8i, that we still don’t know.

At the global launch, we will get to know some more details about the device including its price and, overall, Infinix’s strategy. Most importantly for some of us, we’ll hopefull get to hear of the brand’s journey to Android 11, the latest version of Android which started rolling out last month. Like most devices we have seen unveiled in recent days, the Infinix Note 8 and Note 8i arrive with Android 10 out of the box.

Infinix has opened pre-orders for the two devices in Kenya.

The local unveiling of the two devices, which will be broadcast live on major TV stations across the country, will be on October 21st at 8PM.
