Just a fortnight since its global reveal, the Infinix Zero X Pro is now available in Kenya.
The device packs a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Helio G95 chipset, 8GB RAM, a choice of either 128GB or 256GB onboard storage and a 4,500mAh sealed battery unit.
As far as the cameras go, the Infinix Zero X Pro packs a 108-megapixel OIS (optical image stabilization) “ultra-night Venti camera” comprising of an 8-megapixel periscope moonshot lens with 5X optical zoom and 60X hybrid zoom and a 120° field of view and 8MP ultra-wide & macro lens that also double up as macro shooters.
According to Infinix, “the cameras are enhanced with Quad-LED flash and Infinix’s innovative Hybrid Image Stabilization (including OIS+EIS) solution to capture every detail in a larger field of view smoothly while reducing blurred images”. They also feature Infinix’s Galileo Algorithm Engine, “a top-notch software feature allowing a high resolution looking shot of the Moon” and accessible to users from the device by choosing the ‘Super Moon Mode’.
On the front is a pair of 16-megapixel snappers with dual front flash and “enhanced AI shooting technology to capture the perfect selfies”.
The Infinix Zero X Pro runs on XOS 7.6 which is based on Android 11.
Other standout features of the Infinix Zero X Pro include its promised super-fast gaming experience, thanks to the dual-chip design that sees the MediaTek Helio G95 chipset paired with the MediaTek Intelligent Display chipset that allows for lower game latency and reduced lag as well as improved visual capabilities of the device. There is also the 45W fast charging when using the included wall brick.
The Infinix Zero X Pro is available countrywide through online () and offline retail channels in Starry Silver and Nebula Black colour options. The device is going for Kshs 37,000.
Also joining the Zero X Pro in the local market is a pair of earbuds from Infinix, the XE25 and the XE20.
