A few days ago, Oppo announced a partnership with Spotify that sees users of its devices in the country and beyond able to customize their music experience thanks to a deeper integration with ColorOS 13, the brand’s custom take on Android.
The said customizations come in the form of a smart Always-On Display that automatically logs and shows users what’s playing in the background on the Spotify app without them having to unlock their devices. It also allows users to control playback.
Other features include Spotify integration into the ColorOS 13 Shelf feature, which gives users a card bearing content recommendations from Spotify, integration into Oppo’s alarm app in ColorOS 13 which lets users set content of their choosing from Spotify as their alarm and the obvious, the home screen widgets that users of all Android devices have had access to right from the start.
