Samsung has started rolling out the Android 13 One UI 5.0 update: Here’s when your Galaxy device will get it

It has been less than three months since the stable build of Android 13 was rolled out, but if you are rocking one of Samsung’s 2022 flagships, chances are you have already received the One UI 5 Update, which is Samsung’s take on Android 13.

Despite this impressive feat, Samsung thinks they can still do better in terms of shortening the time between the new vanilla Android OS being rolled out, and the time its customers receive their customized version which also adds a few features to make it better integrated into their ecosystem.

In a release (translation needed), the South Korean company lists a few more devices that will get the One UI 5 update before the end of the year including the Galaxy Z Flip series, Galaxy Fold 2 and Fold 3, Tab S7 FE, Tab S7, Tab S6 Lite, Galaxy A53, A52 s 5G, A33 5G, and even the A32

They give credit to themselves, noting that the current rollout exceeds the previous ones in both speed and scope. Samsung is rightly proud of this, but the company spells out how they plan to do even better next time.

To achieve a faster rollout schedule next year, Samsung says that they plan to strengthen its cooperation with Google and actively listen to user feedback to continue to update One UI faster and with higher perfection.

While the company does not go into too many details about how this cooperation will actually work, it is certainly a good sign that they are committed to ensuring their customers get the latest OS running on their devices as soon as possible and with minimal bugs.

While OnePlus beat Samsung in being the first manufacturer to run Android 13 aside from Google, Samsung’s quick rollout has made it have the highest number of models running the OS, including the first tablet which we looked at here.

Here is when your Samsung device will be joining the Tab S8 on the Android 13/One UI 5 table.
