Samsung has been spotted working on the next One UI 9.0 update for some of their midrange Galaxy devices.
According to SamMobile, they have spotted firmware files for the Galaxy A57 and the Galaxy A34 on Samsung’s server for over-the-air updates. The firmware versions are A576BXXU3BZF3 and A346BXXUFGZF1 respectively. Builds for the Galaxy A17 were also spotted with the firmware version A176BXXU5DZF1.
This comes hot in heels after eligible Samsung Galaxy devices were updated to One UI 8.5.

What does One UI 9.0 offer? Well, Samsung Notes gets creative tools like decorative tapes and variety of pen line styles. The Contacts app has direct access to Creative Studio for creating personalized profile cards. Quick Panel gives people control over its layout. One UI 9.0 also adds improvements on the accessibility section by having and adjustable Mouse Key speed, combined TalkBack and a new Text Spotlight feature.
One UI 9.0 was announced by Samsung to be on the Beta channel beginning with the Galaxy S26 last month. The fact that Samsung is working on having it for the midrange Samsung Galaxy devices is a good signal for the future.
We expect the stable version to be released during the release of the Z Fold 8 and Flip 8, possibly in August.
