OPPO is at it again. Dubbed the “Selfie Expert”, OPPO’s camera-focused F smartphone range is growing. The Chinese smartphone maker has unveiled, in the global market, a new device, the OPPO F3.
The OPPO F3’s main feature is its dual selfie cameras. It has a 16-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel “sub-camera” on the front. The former is for standard individual selfies while the latter is for wide-angle selfies, the ones others are calling wefies. The camera at the back of the device is a 13-megapixel shooter.
Soon, the OPPO F3 will be the latest in a string of budget smartphones that the company has brought to the Kenyan market. The device is set to be unveiled in Kenya and hit shelves on May 15th, 2 days after it goes on sale in India, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Myanmar.
Specifications of the OPPO F3 are as can be seen here.
Pricing information for the device is not yet known at this point in time but we expect to have a clear picture soon when pre-orders for the device open, the first time that OPPO has done so locally.
Just last month, the OPPO A57, a 5.2-inch selfie-focused device, started selling in Kenya.
The F3’s launch comes barely a month since the F3 Plus, its other sibling, hit the global market.
