The Oppo F3 started selling in Kenya on May 23rd priced at Ksh 33,000. Since then, the phone’s price hasn’t changed, but this is no more thanks to Black Friday 2017.
If you have been eying the Oppo F3 but couldn’t make the move due to the rather steep asking price, the phone is now available at a discounted price on Jumia. Using the coupon code BVOPPO, you can chop Ksh 6,000 off the usual price of the F3, which means you pay Ksh 27,000. This discount is courtesy of the just-started Black Friday shopping craze on the giant retailer, which will run until December 13th.
This is a great deal for a good phone that offers one of the best selfie cameras in this category. For the uninitiated, the Oppo F3 ships with a 5.5-inch LCD display screen with a full HD resolution and Gorilla Glass 5 on top. Running the show is a midrange MediaTek MT6750T processor mated with 4GB RAM and 64GB of expandable storage.
Keeping the F3 alive is a decent 3200mAh battery unit and software-wise, you get Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the company’s ColorOS 3.0 on top, which is a disappointment considering the phone was launched at a time when Android Nougat had been around for close to a year. It gets even worse given Oppo’s poor track record when it comes to software updates, which basically means chances of getting an upgrade to Nougat or Oreo are quite slim.
For the optics, the Oppo F3 has a 13MP shooter on the back and a dual 16MP+8MP shooter on the front, which is what gives the phone the nickname “Selfie Expert.” We cannot guarantee the duration of this deal, so make sure you grab it while it lasts. Remember to apply the coupon code (as shown in the screenshot above) before hitting “Proceed to Checkout” otherwise, you’ll end up paying the usual Ksh 33,000.
