Update [Dec 9]: A week ago, Xiaomi Kenya revealed that the much-awaited Pocophone F1 would arrive in Kenya “in a few days” making us believe the release would happen before the end of last week. Apparently, our understanding of a few days is quite different because as is, the Poco F1 will not be available for purchase until December 18.
On the brighter side, it will not only be accompanied by the Redmi Note 6 Pro, but also the Android One-totting Mi A2 Lite alongside the phablet Mi Max 3.
Mi Fans KE,

[Original post] If you have been keeping tabs on Xiaomi Kenya, you must be wondering what happened to the much-hyped Pocophone F1 that was supposed to make its debut in the country several weeks ago.
Although we didn’t get any explanation as to why there was a delay in the phone’s availability, Xiaomi Kenya is back at it, this time promising that the Pocophone F1 will arrive in a few days.
Smelling POCOPHONE F1, in a few days. Retweet if you understand what this means… 🙌

A few days can mean anything in these streets, but we believe this should translate to less than a week of waiting. Apparently, the Poco F1 will be accompanied by the Redmi Note 6 Pro, although not necessarily on the same day. The company says it will be available this December, but we don’t get an exact release date.
ITS FINALLY HERE! SORRY FOR THE DELAY 🙏
Mi Fans,
We are glad to announce that the ultimate four-camera smartphone #RedmiNote6Pro is coming this December! #4Cameras1Shot #RedmiNote6Pro

To recall, Xiaomi Kenya had revealed that the base model of the Poco F1 will trade at Sh 32K while the 6/128GB variant will exchange hands at Sh 37K.
As for the Redmi Note 6 Pro, you are basically getting a device that mimics the Redmi Note 5, but with a few tweaks here and there. The major highlight, as touted by Xiaomi’s teaser, is the camera, which has a combined four lenses – two on the back (12MP +5MP) and two on the front (20MP +2MP). The screen is 6.26 inches in size with a 1080p resolution while the processor remains unchanged from its predecessor – a Snapdragon 636 mated with 3/4/6GB RAM and 32/64GB storage, expandable up to 256GB.
The Note 6 Pro has a 4000mAh battery, runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and still relies on the aging microUSB port for charging and data transfer. We should know the price details pretty soon.
