Months after its global announcement and days after it started showing up in various markets around the world, the Samsung Galaxy A04s is available for purchase in Kenya after its launch in the local market yesterday.

The device, which is available in 64 and 128GB storage options, will be going for Kshs 20,000 and Kshs 23,000 respectively.

It packs a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel main camera at the back (that is backed by a duo of 2-megapixel macro and depth sensors), a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, an Exynos 850 chipset, 4GB RAM and a 5,000mAh battery. There’s 15W “fast-charging” to go with that mammoth battery unit.

Of course, at the prices quoted above, this runs the full-fledged Android operating system, version 12, and not its Go variant, meant for less-capable devices.
